Sweet November

So normally the 1st day of November is a super exciting day for me (you know being my birthday and all *GRIN*) but as I mentioned in my previous blog, I was soooooooo sick!! I spent the day in bed--with what felt like--the flu. It was not a fun day. :(

Eli's class made me a Birthday Card and it really brigtened my day!! His teacher, Kassi, is just so sweet and thoughtful. :)

Each child in Eli's class decorated a page in the card for me...

Also, I have this pretty amazing husband who took care of me. He did ask at about 2 in the afternoon, "Are you better yet?" But I am sure that was out of concern....not out of needing the wife well to make sure the house is under control. (LOVE YOU CHARLIE!)

Charlie gave me the sweetest card and told me he couldn't wait to celebrate when I was well and that he felt bad I was sick. He also **DRUMROLL PLEASE** had me added to his phone plan (I have always just stayed on my own since we have been married) and got me a pretty cool phone. Let's back up to the ADDED ME TO HIS PHONE PLAN. Do you see the importance in this? I am now PHONE-PLAN-WORTHY :) WOO HOOO!!! After 4 1/2 years of marriage it looks like he is making it official. HAHA. Love that husband of mine. :)

Since we didn't get to celebrate on my actual birthday, we celebrated the weekend following with a Family Day in Kemah and then a Date Night. It was a great time!

Ready for my birthday day...

Mr. and Mrs....

When we arrived at Kemah, they were having a "Support the Troops Day" and so Eli and Daddy had fun walking around looking at all of the manly stuff. :)

My two guys--LOVE this photo...

With a toddler, you never know what you're gonna get when it comes to dining out... so we decided low kwy was best. We went to Joe's Crab Shack and not only was the meal yummy, Eli was such the perfect little gentleman!!

We had a nice view from our table...

Eli colored....

And ate everything from shrimp to ice cream...

Of course we had to make some times for games too :)...

It was such a great day with my boys and great evening with my Charlie!! Thanks so much to my big guy and little guy for making my birthday so special!! I love you!!

The next weekend, a special little girl was celebrating her birthday.... Miss Cora!!! Cora is Eli's friend. She was celebrating her 3rd birthday with a cowgirl/cowboy party. :)

Eli dressed for Cora's special day...

The Birthday Girl had a special Birthday Horse to celebrate her day!

Eli was very excited to get on the horse--although Mommy was a little nervous and held onto him (against his will--haha). I didn't get any pictures of Eli on the horse, but I can promise you the smile never left his sweet face. :)

Christen, (Cora's Mommy) had the party decorated soooo cute!!

She had a Stamp Table setup...with ink pads and various western stamps for the kiddos to decorate their pinata bags. CUTEST. IDEA. EVER.

Eli was funny at the pinata...as mush as he swings plastic golf clubs around at the house and everything else, he was so gentle with the pinata stick. It was too cute :)

The favors were also precious...

I think my little cowboy had a great time celebrating with this little cowgirl...

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY CORA!!! Thank you so much for inviting us to celebrate your special day!! :)

Later that afternoon we headed to my parents house in Cypress to celebrate my birthday with my family.

It is always nice to go home and visit. :)

Mom made a delicious meal and along with full bellies, the night was full of laughter.

Celebrating with my brudder and sis-n-law...

I just had to take a picture of these gifts...I mean, how cute is that wrapping??

THANK YOU FOR A VERY SPECIAL DAY FAMILY!!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!! XOXO

On November 18th, Anne and I took the little ones to the Seaside Treasure Fest at Moody Methodist Church in Galveston. This was the first year either of us had gone. We heard great things about it--a snowyard for the kiddos to play in, Pictures with Santa and some great shopping. :)

I got some unique Christmas gifts and so am very excited to give them!

Eli got to see Santa...but Santa was sitting RIGHT outside of the snowyard, so needless to say, Eli was a tad distracted--LOL.

Eli had sooo much fun playing with is best buddy Sara in the snow!!

That would be my child eating the snow...LOL

Mommy loves her little snow angel :) xoxo
