love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails...But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

On June 9th, 3 years ago, I married the most amazing man. I am thankful for him every single day. He works so hard for his family and is such a caring and supportive husband. I still get "butterflies" when I think about the day we said, "I do."
I love you Charlie! xoxo

This is Charlie and I at our wedding rehearsal. This picture always makes me smile. :)

Another special day took place a few weeks ago....June 20th was Father's Day! Eli sure is a lucky little guy to have such a doting Daddy. His face just lights up when his Daddy gets home from work. He grins from ear-to-ear and it is just soooo sweet!
I was able to celebrate Father's Day the other week with my Daddy! Sure do love that Dad of mine!

On June 26th I shed tears of joy because I watched my best friend, Bre, get married!!! This was such a special day for Bre and she was an absolutely stunning bride!! The ceremony was just perfect. I am so happy Bre and Andrew found each other. I know they will have a wonderful life together filled with love and laughter. :)

On June 28th we celebrated my sweet Charlie's birthday!! It was very low key, just dinner and presents with Eli (and Lulu too!) here at the house. I think it was pretty special though. We had a nice time with our little family--just laughing and enjoying our time together.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

We had A LOT of rain here the past few weeks. I had planned a BBQ cookout at our house 4th of July weekend to celebrate Charlie's birthday and the 4th. Unfortunately, the weather was just horrible and we had to cancel.
The weather cleared up Sunday afternoon, so we were able to go watch the fireworks!
It was so much fun tailgating with my little family and watching the pretty fireworks! Eli really liked the bright and pretty colors. :)
Waiting for the show to start....
Pretty fireworks....

Do you want to hear something crazy? Eli is now 8 MONTHS OLD!!!!!! He turned 8 months old on June 15th. How did that happen? I cannot believe in just a few months he will be turning 1 year old! Charlie and I have just been completely amazed at everything he started doing this past month. We will yell from another room, "Quick! Get in here! You have got to see what Eli is doing!"
Sweet Eli...
Our busy boy gets into all kinds of fun things. :)
He likes to open cabinets...
Stand and play at his music table...
Play with dishes and spoons when Mommy is in the kitchen...
Eli is now crawling!!! The day before we left for our vacation (1 week before he turned 9 months), he decided it was time to start crawling :) He started with just a few crawls and now.... well now I cannot turn my head for a second because he moves FAST! haha.
I of course got some video of Eli crawling at the hotel...
Eli just LOVES Lulu! He entertains himself just chasing Lulu around the house. Eli watches Charlie and I take Lulu's toys and throw them for her to run after. Eli will take her toy and before he throws it, she will grab onto the end and pull. Eli thinks she is HYSTERICAL!
Here is some hilarious video of Eli playing with Lulu...
Lulu is Eli's playmate. He worries about her when she is upset. We babygate Lulu in the kitchen whenever we leave her at home. Lulu does get overly excited and "yappy" when we leave the house.
I had to take Eli to his checkup at the doctor, so I gated Lulu in the kitchen. Eli was concerned about Lulu. It was sooooo sweet! He would crawl away from the gate and then would crawl back because she was yapping. He would then "talk" to her... almost as if he was telling her, "It's okay Lulu. We will be home soon." Whatever he was saying to Lulu, it was a precious sight.
Here is the video of Eli worried about Lulu...
One thing Eli likes to do is sit in the big boy high chair when we go out to eat. He really likes to watch everything around him. He is such a good boy when we go places!
Eli and his girlfriend Sara at lunch...
Eli sitting tall when Charlie took us to lunch one Sunday...
Eli is still growing, growing!! I have a funny story about his feet. My sweet, beautiful, perfect baby boy has the biggest feet! I didn't realize until I commented on my friend's son's shoes he had on. April's son Aidan is 15 months. His size 4 shoes were too small for Eli! That had me worried because Nana and Super Pop Pop bought Eli the most adorable cowboy boots for Christmas and they are size 2. Sadly, Eli will never get to sport his awesome cowboy boots. :( He did however get to rock a western photo shoot Mommy set up!
Eli is also a very tall boy for 8 months!
Here is his monthly comparison photo with Mr. Bear....
Here is Eli's monthly chair photo.... (I LOVE his expression in this one!)
These are a few of my favorite pictures from this month:
Silly boy...
Always smiling...
Bathtime is still his favorite...
Watching "Mickey Mouse CLubhouse"...
Here are some of the things Eli is doing at 8 months old:
*Eli still loves his bathtime! He splashes and splashes the water and thinks it is sooo funny!
*He is starting to pull himself up using the table and some of his toys. He is getting to close to standing by pulling up!
*Eli is crawling all over the place! He loves to go in the kitchen. I caught him taking Lulu's food and dumping it in her water bowl, so I need to find a new place to keep Lulu's bowls. haha
*Eli is wearing size 9 month and 12 month clothing.
*Eli LOVES books! He now will turn the pages when I am reading to him.
*Eli is a talker! He says the words "baba," "dada" and "mama."
*Eli will crawl over to Charlie and I and pull himself into our laps because he wants to cuddle. I LOVE that!
