My favorite time of the year came and went--HALLOWEEN!! I am one of those "crazy Halloween people"--seriously. I LOVE this holiday, always have.
The kid in me still needs to dress up. :) Every year I get excited to find a costume. However, the costumes nowadays are getting ridiculous. I don't understand why EVERYTHING needs to be 2 piece or made so body parts hang out.
But I found a costume....it wasn't one I would have thought of....heck, it wouldn't have been on my Top 50 list, but it kept me covered, warm and it was Charlie's favorite color (Brown!)!!
So I introduce to you the farmer and the Eskimo :)
We had a blast celebrating with friends :)
Courtney and Todd...
BESTEST FRIENDS XOXO

Halloween Day Eli was able to wear a costume to school for his class party. I thought about letting him wear his Trick-Or-Treat costume, but knew it was a pain to get in and out of (for the teachers) so I dressed him up in his little Toy Story cowboy costume.
He loved his costume, but got VERY upset when Mommy went to put his hat on his head... LOL

That afternoon, Charlie left work early and we got Eli dressed and ready to go Trick-Or-Treating. My friend Nancy was so sweet to invite my family and Anne's family over on Halloween. She went all out and had delicious food and such fun decorations. Thank you so much Nancy for having us!!
So....I should probably mention that my "Halloween Sickness Curse" from last year returned. I started feeling really bad at work that afternoon. I just refused to be sick on such a fun day for Eli. So I put on my happy face and sucked it up, but I really wanted to cry. Sometimes life just doesn't seem fair, does it?
Anywho, enough woe-is-me stuff... Eli and Sara had such a fun time!!
They looked soooo cute in their "Wizard of Oz" themed costumes!!
Family photo!
Mommies & Babies (Thank you Anne for my BEAUTIFUL witch hat!)
When it was time to Trick-Or-Treat, there was no holding Eli back. HAHA!
Eli was so funny, he got a lollipop from Nancy and he kept wanting to give the lollipop (he was sucking on) to people after he said, "Trick-Or-Treat!" I got a good laugh out of that. :)
Eli even got to give Sylvester a "high five!"
A special thank you to my sweet friend Anne who picked up Eli this special bag for Trick-Or-Treat (How cute is that?)...
And gave Eli this cool light up thing (I kid you not he would not let go of this thing for a week afterwards...LOL)
I am soooo glad Eli and Sara had such a great time!!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!! :)
