Soccer and Celebrations :)

November bought so many new things for us.....

*I was blessed with a new digit in the ones place on my age number on November 1st.

HAPPY 29th to ME ;)

*Eli received his first Report Card. :)

*Eli also earned his very first trophy. :)

*I also painted my first masterpiece (Hehe).

It really was a fun month of firsts. :)

***************************************************************************************

The beginning of the month is always fun for me since the 1st is my birthday (well fun minus the year older part--haha). I celebrated that Thursday evening at home in my pajamas with my little family and I couldn't have been happier. I am not even going to lie, it was a no makeup, comfy p.j. evening, so I didn't even take photos.....but I have some wonderful memories in my heart.

On Friday Eli went to stay the weekend with Grammy and Paw Paw (THANK YOU!). I enjoyed a fun evening with friends at The Paint Pub. I have always wanted to try a place like that and last minute asked some of my favorite people to join me. We had a BLAST!

Watch out Picasso! Hehe ;)

On Saturday I had an amazing night out with my Charlie. We truly enjoy our alone time together and look forward to date nights. :)

November 8th was our sweet Eli's last day of soccer for the season. It really is the cutest thing ever watching him play. Charlie and I get a kick out of the little ones playing soccer. :)

The last day of soccer they played a scrimmage against another team their age. The kiddos weren't all too certain of the point of soccer yet (they ALL wanted to stand in the "weally big net"--LOL!), but they had fun, so that is all that matters.

Oh, and most importantly, Eli got his first trophy! He was sooooo proud!!!

It has been such a fun season!

That Friday bought a few very exciting things:

1. Eli got his school pictures back (and I LOVED them all!)....

2. Eli received his very first Report Card :).....

3. Mommy and Daddy were spoiled with another evening out because his wonderful school had a "Parent's Night Out."
***********************************************************************************

Thanksgiving kind've snuck up on me this year. I am used to getting an entire week off to celebrate Turkey Day.... but we weren't as spoiled this year. I am not complaining though, I know I am lucky to have a job and have holidays off.

The Second Grade Team (We ROCK!) had fun as usual in preparing for the holiday....

Every year, I have my students write what they are thankful for. It warms my heart when I read things like "I am thankful to kiss my brother" or "I am thankful my Mom is not sick anymore." Sometimes we are reminded of the most important things (and what to be thankful for) through the eyes of a child.

I am thankful for so many things in life, but most importantly, I am thankful for the love I have been blessed with--from my Eli, my Charlie, family (near and far), friends--I love you all so very much. I am thankful to have you in my life....

Thanksgiving Day we spent with Charlie's family. It was a lovely time. We all enjoyed food and fellowship.

The following day, we had Thanksgiving with my family. I had such a nice time helping my Mommy prepare and thouroughly enjoyed feasting and conversation.

Of course, Chris and I had to break it down "robot style"....HAHAHAHAHA!

We stayed am extra day with my family. Eli had the most fun being Super Pop Pop's little helper (putting air in my tires). He loves to hang with his Pop. :)

And just when I thought there was no such thing as a "true" Fall season in Texas, look at the last shot of the month on my camera....

LOVE!
