I went to pick Eli up from school last week and his teacher told me he has been spending the afternoons in the Two Year Old Classroom. I actually had to hold back tears...the Two Year Old Classroom?!? Why would they put my BABY BOY in the Two Year Old Classroom?? My BABY boy is growing up so fast!!
Sweet Eli...
This pic actually made me cry because he had a similar shirt on and photo taken when he was 6 months old.

Eli and I had a FANTASTIC Spring Break!!! We had all kinds of fun!!
One event that takes place around Spring Break every year is Mardi Gras. I have never been to Mardi Gras in Galveston, but it is the talk of the town. A lot of my friends like to attend the Family/Chidlren's Mardi Gras parades. I thought that sounded like a fun idea and decided to take Eli.
Mommy and Eli ready to go! (I just love his sweet face!)

Eli's friend Aidan turned 2 over the break. :) He had his Birthday Party at "Max's Fun Jump." It was a lot of fun!!
Eli wasn't too sure of the jumpy things at first...
He was having fun dancing on the patterns on the floor. Haha.
Then when the announcement was made that the kiddos had "Five minutes left to jump," suddenly Eli didn't want to leave. Haha.
Aidan had a wonderful birthday! I LOVED his expression when he saw his giant cookie cake! :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIDAN!!! Thank you for having us at your fun party! :)

I spent a lot of time just enjoying my Eli during Spring Break. We would go on walks together, play with Lulu outside, color pictures and sing songs.
Our favorite thing to do was to go to the park. We went to the park almost every day we were home. I just love the park in Friendswood!! It is sooo beautiful and they have different playgrounds for different ages.
Eli discovered acorns when we were there one afternoon. He thought they were so fascinating!! He kept throwing them in the stroller and saying "Okay!" Then he would run off and find more. He is such a funny little guy! :)

We also spent some time with some other friends over the break. Anne had a Mommy/Baby get together at her house one afternoon. It was too cute having all of the babies together!!
Eli had soooo much fun playing with Sara, Avery and Mason. :)
These babies are just TOO much fun!! :)

On St. Patrick's Day, we headed out to Cypress to spend time with Nana and Super Pop Pop. :)
Mommy and Eli all dressed in green...
I love visiting family!!! Chris, Samantha and Brandon came over later that day.
Eli and Brandon...
Cousin Brandon taught Eli this super trick (NOT!)...
We had a delcious St.Patty's Day meal--Corned Beef, Red Potatoes, Cabbage... it was sooo yummy!!!
Eli LOVED it!! I was surprised!! I don't know many toddlers who eat Corned Beef and Cabbage...haha.
Oh and he also LOVED Nana's homeade St. Patrick's Day cupcakes (although this is not a surprise--haha)...
In fact, I have video proof of just how much Eli enjoyed these cupcakes...haha
St. Patrick's Day is a super special day because...it is also Lulu's Birthday!!! We love our little Lulu!! :) She is such a sweet furry child and we love her to pieces. :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LULU!!! We love you!!!

The next day Samantha, Brandon, Eli and I spent the afternoon in Rice Village. Samantha and I had to pick up our race packets for the next day, so we decided to do a little shopping and lunching while we were in the area. :)
We had a yummy lunch at Escalantes. It was a gorgeous day, so we decided to eat outside. :)
Brandon enjoyed sipping his Mexican soda....
While Eli enjoyed his cheese Quesodilla...
We then did some "Retail Therapy." I just love this area!! They have all kinds of stores and boutiques. Samantha even found a really cool Scrapbooking store when we were there. She and I LOVE to Scrapbook! We had actually stayed up until after 2am the night before Scrapbooking. :)
Oh...and we also found a Sprinkles Cupcakes. Dangerous... haha
*************************************************************************************Later that night I went and visited my best friend, Alexis. It is always a great time catching up. We just laugh and laugh :)
Lex and I...
*************************************************************************************The next morning (soooo bright and early!!) Samantha and I headed downtown to run the 5K Shamrock Strut. This was such a good run!! The weather was PERFECT and it was a smooth, super organized race. I was actually a little disappointed I didn't sign up for the 10K because I felt like I could've kept going. :)
My number...
