"Superbaby"

He travels at the speed of light...he can leap over coffee tables and couches...he has no fear...

Let me introduce you to....

SUPERBABY!

Great Aunt Sherry and Uncle Floyd sent Eli these adorable pajamas for Christmas! I swear he thinks he has super powers when he wears these feety pajamas. The first time he wore them, he decided to climb up on the couch and run across it. The second I took him down off the couch and said "No, no, Mommy doesn't want you to get hurt," he was already standing on the coffee table! Superbaby is making Mommy super nervous these days!

Our sweet, precious, BUSY baby boy is now 15 MONTHS OLD!

I cannot believe how big he is getting! He is now 34 INCHES LONG and weighs 24.6 pounds!! He is a TALL boy...everywhere I go people question how old he is and are in disbelief at his age. I am assuming he is taking after his Daddy in the height department--haha.

Let me catch you up on our little guy's monthly comparison photos...

Eli at 13 MONTHS...

Eli at 14 MONTHS...

Eli at 15 MONTHS...

Eli is just too much fun right now!! He is pretty much into anything and everything. I feel like I spend my time with him chasing him, taking things he shouldn't have away and prying him off of tables and chairs. Charlie and I are left at the end of the day completely exhausted, but wouldn't change it for anything. Eli is the light of our lives and we treasure every minute with him. :)

Our sweet boy...

Ready for basketball! Seriously, how cute is this little Rockets jersey? (Thank you Courtney and Hayden!)

Eli now wants whatever Daddy has... his hat, car keys, glasses. The other day Daddy was eating an ice pop, so of course Eli wanted that too.

Eli is also very musical. :) He loves to sing and dance. Everytime there is music playing in the car he kicks his feet and claps his hands. Also, when the TV is on, whether it be a cartoon show or a commercial with music, he will dance.

I just had to share a video with some of Eli's "moves"....

Here are some of the things Eli is now doing at 15 MONTHS OLD:

*He is very social and will say "Hiii!" in his sweetest voice to each person he passes in the grocery store. He will also say it until the person says it back--haha.
*Eli says "All done," "Come on," and "No Woo woo" (Lulu)-- cute!! :)
*He is now starting to put the wooden shape pieces into the correct shape holes. If you point to the correct one, he can put the shape in it. :)
*Eli puts toys away when he is done playing with them. (Sometimes--haha)
*Eli eats pretty much anything...he loves all fruit and veggies (except peas).
*He will bring me his tennis shoes and say "Out!" when he wants to play outside.
*Eli wears mostly 18 month size clothing...the 12 month clothing is too short.
*Bathtime is still a favorite of Eli's... of course now he wants to scare Mommy by attempting to run in the tub--yikes!
*He has a c.d. we listen to every morning on the way to school with various children's song. His favorite is "Old MacDonald" and Eli will shake his head, kick his feet and sing the "Eee I Eee I Oooo" part. I LOVE it!
*Each day when we arrive at Eli's school he claps his hands and says "Yay! Here!" I LOVE that he is in such wonderful hands that he is excited to go to school each and every day.
*Eli RUNS to the door when his Daddy gets home from work everyday and says, "Hiii! Up!" It just warms my heart to watch him with his Daddy. :)

February already!! Goodness!! This month has been crazy!! I seriously debated writing Ms. Mother Nature a leter about the pranks she has been pulling lately... we had weather in the 20's and 30's last week. I even had a "Snow Day" and work was cancelled one day. This week it is going to be in the 70's!

Charlie and I had plans a couple of weekends in a row and had to postpone due to this insane weather.

They also cancelled my monthly Alpha Delta Kappa meeting due to the weather. They rescheduled it for this past Tuesday. It was held at "Tina's," a really cute boutique in Galveston on The Strand. They had sooo many cute things!! I opted to buy some of their well-known "Tina's Blend" candles. They have an Amaretto fragrance and make the entire house smell yummy. :)

On the weekend of February 5th (the day after my "Snow Day") we headed out to Cypress to celebrate my Mommy's birthday!!

It was a perfect day!!

Super Pop Pop took Eli to go see the horses since it was such a nice day out...

Nana found a fun static game using a blanket and Eli's hair....(I laughed and laughed at this!)

After opening presents and some AMAZING New York cheesecake with Strawberry sauce, we finished my Mom's birthday evening with a fun game of "Seinfeld Monopoly" and vino. It was such a fun time! Perfect end to a perfect day. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!! WE LOVE YOU!!
