December, December, December, DECEMBER!!! I was sooooo excited during the month of December that I thought I might burst! I just LOVE the holidays--especially Christmas :). Baking cookies, listening to Christmas music, FAMILY, looking at Christmas lights, celebrating Him.
Oh and I kind've look forward to seeing this face every day, all day for 2 whole weeks *LOVE*...

Along with all of the festivities I look forward to at home with my family, I always look forward to the fun activities and special things planned for my kiddos at work.
The "Elf on the Shelf" came to visit our class on December 2nd. My students came up with the name (Are you ready for this?!): Mr. Edward Noodles. HAHA. I must say, Mr. Edward Noodles could be pretty naughty at times.
One day we came back from P.E. and he had written all over the students desks in dry erase marker...
Another time he stacked up our class dictionaries....
Mr. Edward Noodles sprinkled confetti all over the desks...
One afternoon he was fishing when we came back from lunch...
He even was caught zip-lining across our classroom!
My students faces were always priceless when they discovered a new act done by Mr. Edward Noodles...
We had the best time in my classroom during the month of December! We even "elfed" ourselves online and then watched them on the screen in the class. We laughed and laughed...
One project we did that came out pretty cute was our Thumbprint Christmas Cards...
The kiddos had a lot of fun making them!
I gotta say, I love my kiddos!
Even if they don't always follow the directions when it comes to using paint ;)...
Work is always just FUN this time of year....no stress, no worries--just fun. :) We had our annual Christmas Party at Mario's in Galveston the Thursday night before school got out. The Mommies at work decided (due to lack of babysitters) that we would leave babies with Daddies and go celebrate with co-workers.
It was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed the white elephant gift exchange--I laughed and laughed. :)
Some of my favorite co-worker ladies and I being silly: Adrienne, myself, Leigh Ann and April...

The first weekend in December I planned a ladies day (and Eli!) in Galveston to go to Dickens on the Strand. I had never been prior and always wanted to go. So my Mommy, sis-in-law Samantha, Mom Brenner and sis-in-law Alison came over Saturday morning for wassail, fruit and quiche and then we headed down to Galveston.
I found a few cool items while shopping, but the best part was the people watching! I loved seeing everyone all dressed up--especially the ladies in their beautiful dresses. :)
We happen to run into my friend Amy and her son Jacob as we were leaving. Eli and Jake are only a few months apart. They both dress alike and that always makes Amy and I laugh. The outfit Jake has on in this picture is the exact outfit Eli almost wore (he wore it in his school picture if you have one).
Amy, Jake, Eli and I...
After we left Dickens on the Strand we headed to Sunflower Bakery for lunch. This is one of my favorite places to go eat on the island. They have the best Tomato Bisque ever and don't get me started on the desserts. I can't even look at them, I have to walk away. LOL.
I ordered Eli breakfast off of the KIDS MENU. Note to self: Eli and I can split lunch next time....
He sure did enjoy it though! (I think he shares his Auntie Alison's love of bacon--HAHA. Just kidding, Ali)
Thank you ladies for joining me on our first annual Dickens on the Strand outing!

The next day I spent the afternoon decorating the house. Eli and I sang Christmas songs while I pulled all of our favorite Christmas pieces from boxes to display. :)
The Nutcrackers...
The stockings...
I did the entry way a little different this year. I found some garland I really liked and hung a Christmas banner instead of a wreath this year...
The candles....
And of course, I had to display all the lovely Christmas cards we received! This year I decided to get creative with my card hanging (haha). I took wooden clothespins and decorated them with Christmas wrapping paper and rhinestones. :)
Charlie got our tree that week and did such a great job picking it out! It was such a beautiful tree!
We had so much fun decorating it! I was so impressed at Eli hanging the ornaments! He would open the little string and carefully place it over the branch--talk about some serious gross motor skills! :)
So the first Sunday of Winter Break I happen to be up pretty late--folding laundry, catching up on junk reality shows and such--and I hear this LOUD "BOOM!" at about 1:00 in the morning. I look out the window and see a truck has hit Charlie's truck.
Luckily, the damage to Charlie's truck was not too bad. However, the young kid who hit his truck wasn't so lucky as far as vehicle damage...
Those of you closest to us know this is kind've expected lately. It's a joke that if something strange is going to happen in our quiet little neighborhood, it's going to happen at our house. The odds of this kid turning on our road and then driving 3 blocks before skidding past 2 houses only to hit Charlie's vehicle--apparently the odds are much greater than one would think. LOL. We are just glad no one was hurt and all is well.

Midweek Eli and I met up with Anne and sweet Sara. We were originally going to go see Santa at the mall as part of our usual tradition, but the mall was INSANE. Anne and I couldn't see putting our sweet (and very BUSY) toddlers through the torture of standing in line for hours on end. We decided to go to the park and let the kids play and take pictures of them in their adorable Christmas clothes.
We headed to this really pretty nearby park...
And we lucked out! Check out the backdrop the park had waiting for our picture-taking pleasure :)....
I like how they are giving us the "crazy eyes" in this one when Anne and I were dancing and acting silly in attempt to get them to smile--Haha...
After took some photos, Eli and Sara had a great time running around and playing....
This one just cracks me up! LOL...
We ate a yummy lunch at Cheddar's and then headed back to our house to play and exchange Christmas gifts.
Thank you sweet Sara and Anne for this super cool Aviator jacket you gave Eli! Sooooo adorable.....
The little ones also got a wagon pull ride courtesy of Miss Anne when we got back to the house...
We also took our sweet little ones to the movie theater (for the very first time) during our break to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked." Anne and I were....nervous. But I must say, these two little people were the most well behaved two year olds I have ever seen! They sat with their Icee's and popcorn and sat through the ENTIRE movie! IMPRESSIVE. :)
At the movies for the first time...
Mommy and Eli ready for the movie to start...
Sara showing us her "moves" during the music at the end of the movie :)...

On December 22nd Eli had a Christmas celebration at school. I wanted to make something cute to send for the kiddos. I found an idea for reindeer juice box covers on Pinterest (I am soooo addicted to this website!! Soooo many cute/fun ideas!!).
I thought they turned out pretty cute....
Eli's sweet teachers sent home a stocking FILLED with cool things for him! He also made me this cute handprint card...LOVE it! :)

We celebrated our Christmas here a day early, so we could visit both sides of our family on Christmas Day. Luckily, Santa was able to come see us a day early. ;)
We just had the best time with our little family!! Eli's face Christmas morning was PRICELESS! I have the most precious video of him walking out of his bedroom and seeing all the goodies Santa had left for him. Soooo cute :) !
Santa made a stop at the Webb house :)...
Some pics of our Christmas Day...
Mommy was REALLY surprised that Santa bought Eli a bike!
He actually did a pretty good job pedaling :)
All smiles...
Mommy and Daddy got Eli a Lego Table for Christmas. Eli loves it! :)
My sweet Charlie reading directions to put Eli's toy together... I am soooo glad that is not in my job description! Haha
Daddy and Eli playing with the cool racetrack...
Play-Doh time...
The boys spent a lot of time playing in the tent...
Our Christmas Eve-Day was rainy, so we decided to go drive through the fancy neighborhood in Pearland again to see the Christmas lights.
Charlie took this pic of me on our way to go see the lights (holding our thermos of hot cocoa of course!).....
It was soooo much fun to see all the beautifull decorated homes! Eli had a great time looking at all the "wights" as he calls them. Hehe
Eli giggling at the music playing at one of the houses...
Lulu likes seeing the lights too :)...
I thought this house was the coolest! They had their lights timed with the music...
Of course we enjoyed the house that "represented" for Charlie too :)...

Christmas morning we headed to The Woodlands to go see Charlie's family. We had a nice time visiting and celebrating.
Auntie Alison and Uncle David got Eli these shape cupcakes. He LOVES them! He plays with them every day and they kept him pretty occupied on Christmas morning...
Chelsey and Tanner were able to come for a bit too. :) Tanner and Eli are so cute together! They are both such busy little guys, so it is really fun to watch them.
Chelsey, Tanner, Eli and I...
I had to post this one because you get a sneek peek of the ADORABLE Huggies Santa Edition diapers I had to get Eli :)...
We had a lovely time! Thank you Mom and Bob for having us! :)
****************************************************************************
We then headed to Cypress to visit my family on Christmas. It was such a great time. :)
Here are some fun family pics from that day...
Charlie and I...
Mom and Brandon...
Chris and Samantha...
Chris showing off his AWESOME I-45 tee....LOL
I just realized I don't have NOT ONE photo of my Daddy on Christmas morning....hmmmm....I think he was hiding from me and my camera....
Eli had a great time running around and opening presents!
He LOVED this barking puppy dog from Nana and Super Pop Pop...
And he couldn't get enough of his talking "Cars" chair :)...
Eli's Uncle Chris and Auntie Samantha bought him the noisiest toys you could possibly imagine....needless to say, it was a very musical Christmas. LOL. (Payback my dear brother. Payback. HAHA)
Oh and I think Lulu really enjoyed her Christmas too because this is how she spent most of her day.....
Thank you for a perfect Christmas, family!! We love you all!! xoxo

We had an AMAZING Christmas holiday and loved our time with family. :) To all family and friends--near and far--wishing you all a blessed 2012!
Lots of love,
Charlie, Courtney, Eli and Lulu
