Thought you might like to take a trip down "Memory Lane" with me.... :)

Our baby boy is now 13 MONTHS OLD!! This past month has been a little rough in the Webb house. One word to sum up this past month: SICKNESS. Our sweet Eli went for his 1 year checkup back in October. Sadly, the doctor was unable to give him his shots because he had ANOTHER Ear Infection. That made Ear Infection number 3 (within 2 1/2 months) for our poor little guy. I felt horrible because I had no idea he was sick! Eli was his normal, happy little self, so it never crossed my mind his ears were hurting him. :(
Here he is at the doctor's office.... does he look like he doesn't feel well to you?? haha.
The doctor gave Eli an antibiotic for his ears. During this time, I bring home a VIOLENT virus from school...let's just say it was horrible. As if my having this virus wasn't bad enough, I passed it along to Eli, Charlie, my Mom, Dad, best friend, her boyfriend and my sis-in-law. I am so glad everyone recovered and is back to normal!
Since we were back to feeling great the following weekend, Charlie took Eli and I to a Craft Show in Clear Lake. There were some really cute crafts to look at. There was also a Petting Zoo!
Of course we had to take Eli to pet the animals...
We then headed over to Kemah Boardwalk. It was such a nice day out and it was so much fun to just walk around. :) We walked the boardwalk and went in a few stores. Charlie then took us for a delicious dinner at "The Flying Dutchman." It was a perfect family day. :)
After our day at the boardwalk, Eli came home to a surprise in the mail from his Great Aunt Karen Lee and Great Uncle Jim. :) Thank you Aunt Karen Lee and Uncle Jim for the ADORABLE firefighter outfit!!
How cute is this?

There is one day during the week I look forward to most. That day is Sunday. Along with Sunday being the designated "day of rest" and a day to to thank Him for all we have been blessed, this is the day of family togetherness at our house. Charlie regularly works a 6 day workweek, so his only guaranteed day off is Sunday. On his 1day off, he always makes sure to make this day all about his family....whether we go to the park, do some shopping, or just hang out at home. This is one of the many reasons I feel so blessed to have my Charlie. I sure am one lucky gal!!
Family Sundays are the best!!
Time with my boys...
Trips to the park...
Isn't this a pretty park? They always have the gazebo decorated for Christmas--I just love it!!

As Eli grows older with each passing month, he also becomes busier. HAHA. Just when I thought he couldn't possibly move any faster... I just see this flash of white blonde hair whizz by (all the while giggling). He is just sooo much fun!! I laugh at some of the things I find in his toy bin: pieces of my tupperware, socks, DVD's....NEVER a dull moment!!
Hmmmm... I am pretty sure Eli must've been in the kitchen...
And possibly in the Living Room...
I just love our busy little boy!! :)
Here are some of the things Eli is doing at 13 MONTHS OLD:
*Eli has a mouth full of teeth!! His big teeth in the back are cutting through and so he likes to chew on his pacifier.
*He now RUNS pretty fast!!
*Eli learned how to pull himself up onto the couch, hold onto the back of the couch and bounce. (Mommy is not too crazy about this new found "hobby"--haha)
*He LOVES apples!! He eats them whole. (I think it feels good on his teeth)
*Eli LOVES to be chased and to chase!! He runs from Daddy as soon as he gets home from work and looks back so he will chase him-soooo cute!!
*Eli is not too crazy about having to take time out of his busy day to get his diaper or clothes changed. :)
*Eli is 24 lbs. 6 oz. (66th percentile for weight) and 32 inches long (98th percentile for height)
*He LOVES music!! I sing to him in the car all the time and he will clap his hands. When a pop song comes on the radio he likes he shakes his head back and forth and kicks his legs and squeals. I laugh everytime!
*Eli insists upon sharing EVERYTHING with Lulu. He doesn't understand when he is trying to SHARE his snack, why she takes the whole thing and that makes him very sad.
*Eli is saying/repeating new words all the time!! He has a few words he has attached meaning to: dog, cup, book, that, Mama, Dada, milk.
Oh and I am pretty sure whenever he looks at me, smiles and babbles, he is saying "I love you Mommy." ;)
