Of course there is an added bonus this year.... our sweet Eli is here to share this time of year with us!
There are so many things I am looking forward to in the month of October. We are planning to take Eli to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out his very first pumpkin next week.... I already have the cutest Halloween costume EVER for him to wear.... and of course, he will be turning 1 year old in just a few days!!!
I say it every month, where has the time gone? It just flies by with a little one! I just can't believe it has already been a year since this little guy was born.
Mommy loves you sweet Eli...

There is one other thing that takes place in the Fall and it seems to take over the house every Saturday, Sunday and Monday night at the Webb household: Football. I have become more interested in football this year (if ya can't beat 'em, join em, right?). I like to watch the Texas teams of course and college football is always good. Charlie has been very patient with me in explaining the rules and what is going on--haha.
Last week was a pretty big deal in football, the Houston Texans played the Dallas Cowboys. I referred to it as "The Superbowl of Texas" because people were going CRAZY over this game!
Of course my main concern was making sure my little man looked the part to support his team.... ;)

A few weeks ago, Eli received a VERY special gift in the mail from his Great Aunt Ruth. She made him this AMAZING quilt and Charlie and I just love it! It goes absolutely perfect in his nursery!!
The adorable box the quilt was wrapped in...(oh and we LOVE the nautical duckies!)
The beautiful quilt...
Thank you Aunt Ruth for the beautiful, thoughtful gift! xoxo

A very special event took place September 25th, Eli's little girlfriend, Sara, turned 1 year old! Seems like just yesterday Anne and I were talking about having Eli and Sara--and now they are officially toddlers. :)
Sara had a WONDERFUL 1st birthday!
Sara just LOVED looking at all of her presents....
Eli liked looking at her presents too :)....
Another fun part about Sara's special day was all of her baby friends came to celebrate! I work with some fabulous ladies and it is soooo much fun that several of us are the same age and all have babies around the same age. :)
From Left to Right: Anne and Sara (1 year), Me and Eli (11 months), Stacy and Mason (2 months) and Heather and Avery (5 months)....

This past month has been VERY exciting because (drumroll, please....) ELI IS NOW WALKING!!!! The week before Eli turned 11 months, he decided it was time to go! haha.
Of course I have some video of our sweet Eli walking...

We are having sooo much fun with our little guy right now!!
I must say, it is quite the workout trying to keep up with him though! haha.
Here are just a few of the fun things Eli likes to do to entertain himself...
Taking Daddy's hat...
Carrying Nursery decorations around the house....
Playing with Mommy's pots and pans...
Playing with his toys... :)
And this one is my absolute favorite: Jumping in the laundry pile that needs to be folded...
It is all just so much fun! I always say, this past month has been "the most exciting yet." The truth is, it just keeps getting better. :)
Along with all of Eli's new physical abilities, Charlie and I get such a kick out of watching his personality develop. He is quite the funny little man!
Sometimes when we are sitting on the couch, he will walk up and lay his head down on the couch (while standing up) and just give you the biggest grin and start laughing-- cracks us up every time.
He also will put his pacifier backwards in his mouth on purpose because he thinks it is the funniest thing ever... (I of course think it's pretty funny too--haha)
He is just such a happy boy! We are so blessed to have such a happy, healthy baby.
Eli really likes toy boats and trucks right now. Those are his favorite toys.
Eli and his boat...
He also LOVES his Daddy! Eli thinks his Daddy is the funniest guy in the whole world and loves to spend time with him.

Eli will go to his 1 year appointment next week and I can fill you all in on his weight and measurements. :)
For now, I will leave you with his 11 month comparison photo. I was only able to get the chair photo this month because trying to get Eli to lay still next to a stuffed animal is no longer possible. haha
Here is our 11 MONTH OLD baby boy in his chair...
These are just a few sweet photos from this past month...
Here are some of the things Eli is doing at 11 MONTHS OLD:
*Eli sleeps 10-11 hours straight per night
*He now drinks whole milk (doctor said "it is time to make the switch")
*Eli now will carry his toy trucks to hard surfaces because he knows they move better
*Eli mimics quite a few words. He is a talker like his Mommy! :)
*HE IS WALKING!!!
*He is a great eater! He LOVES fruit (oranges, apples, BLUEBERRIES).
*Eli waves "hi" to his school when we pull up in the morning and gets very excited (this makes Mommy VERY happy!).
*He now does a shocked/surprised face when he just cannot believe something. (It is sooo cute!)
*Eli was sick for the very first time a couple of weeks ago with an ear infection. I now know when he is sick, all he wants is to cuddle up with Mommy. Not gonna lie, it made my month. :)
