Can you believe this sweet "baby" boy is now three years old?

I love this sweet face more than words could ever express--I love you Eli!

We started off the month of October with a trip to Cypress to visit Nana and Super Pop Pop.
We had such a fun visit!
That Friday night I had an evening out with my bestie, Courtney.
Here I am all dolled up....

We had such a blast!! We shopped, ate, giggled and celebrated because....my bestie is EXPECTING!!!! I am sooooo excited!!!!!

The next morning Mom, Eli and I headed to a Fall Festival in Cypress. It was really great! Lots of vendors and things to look at.
Eli saw these little puppies at one of the booths and thought they were real. He kept saying, "Wuwu needs one!" HAHA. My sweet boy thinking of his best pal, Lulu.
Some fun photos from our day....
My favorite shot of the day....
When we got home that evening, the weather was actually COOL outside! So the entire family sat outside and chalked up the driveway---we laughed and laughed. Sooooo much fun! :)

A fun visit as always!! Love you!!

That Thursday during soccer practice, Eli's soccer team became official. They received their jerseys!
I am seriously in cuteness overload with this whole soccer outfit thing (I know Charlie and all the boys will correct me on referring to his uniform as an "outfit," but it is ADORABLE!)!!!
Eli stretching with Daddy....

He smiles even when running....

Ladies and Gentleman, may I introduce you to..... THE LIGHTNING SPIDERS!

HAHAHAHAHA! I LOVE this name! The kiddos on his team decided on a name the first practice. The coach asked, "What kinds of things do you like?" Eli said, "Lightning McQueen!" Some other kids said things like, "Toy Story" and "Batman." So the coach asked them to think about animals they like and one kid shouted out, "Cows!" and they all started moo-ing. I was cracking up! Eventually they decided on "Lightning Spiders."
The favorite part of the practice for all the kiddos is at the end when they put their hands in the middle of the circle and shout, "Go Lightning Spiders!"

LOVE IT!

The weekend of October 13th Charlie and I celebrated Eli's THIRD BIRTHDAY!!! We had a super special Sunday and took our sweet Eli out to Dewberry Farms for a fun family day.
In the car on the way....
YAY! We made it after a pretty long drive!

There were so many cute things for the little ones to do there!
Eli checked out the animals....
Played on the barrel slide....
On the swings....
In the sandlot with the trucks....
He LOVED this "big 'pider web!"
Swinging in the hay is always a good time....
We all had fun on the "fastest barrel train in Texas!"
This Momma was in photo op heaven!
Eli also got to pick his pumpkin!

It was a fantastic day with my big guy and little guy <3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR AMAZING LITTLE GUY!!!! MOMMY AND DADDY LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!! On Monday, October 15th, our sweet Eli officially turned three years old. I cannot believe my BABY boy is now three! It goes by too fast.
On Eli's birthday, both Mommy and Daddy took off work to spend the day with our Birthday Boy. :)
This is what the Birthday Boy wanted to wear when he woke up.... LOL!
Luckily, he didn't get upset when Mommy suggested a different outfit before we went to the store--HAHA.
Eli picked out a cake to have made to celebrate his birthday at school the next day. I was bummed because the school will not allow home baked goods (it's against state law) because I wanted to make special treats. However, I must say, his Mickey Mouse cake turned out really cute!

Daddy spent the morning working on a very special birthday project for Eli.... a swingset!
Eli was sooooo excited!!! He saw it and said, "Wow! A playground!" It was really cute! :)

That evening we sang "Happy Birthday" and Eli opened his presents from Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa and Little Gram.
"Happy Birthday to you"....
Enjoying his birthday cupcake....
Present time!
This year he was all about opening presents!!! Funny compared to last year when he let his friends open them while he played--LOL.
Such a special day for a special little boy!

Saturday, October 20th we had family over to celebrate Eli's birthday. I had TOO much fun planning and preparing for his party! Anyone that knows Eli, knows his most favorite toys/movies are the Disney Cars. So I decided to make his special day a Cars/Racecar theme.
I made each character a card to represent a snack or food item....
Eli was TOO cute! He gave each car character a fork to "eat the snacks wif"-- HAHA!
Eli couldn't stop eyeballing these "Traffic Light" cookies... LOL.
My favorite little decoration was this banner I made. I thought it came out pretty cute. :)
Eli LOVED the checkered racecar flags!
I even found the perfect shirt with a cape to match his theme!
Waiting for everyone to arrive....
Everyone arrived and we had some fun family time hanging outside. The weather was GORGEOUS!
Eli chose his birthday cupcake (from my FAVORITE cupcake place Mrs. Gatti's Gourmet Cupcakes)....
The winner :)
After Eli chose his birthday cupcake, we all sang "Happy Birthday".....
Then we opened gifts. Eli is one lucky little guy!!! His family really gave him some very sweet, fun and thoughtful gifts!
Oh and Uncle Chris is in serious trouble....he thought is was HILARIOUS to give his nephew a MEGAPHONE AND an ANNOYING, squeaky rubber chicken (because it has no batteries)... Payback my dear brother, payback.... LOL ;)
Uncle Chris and Val also gave him these cool binoculars! Eli was HIALRIOUS with these things throughout the day!
Before we took the binoculars out of the box--HA!....
Such a fun time with family!
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR COMING!!!!! We had a WONDERFUL time celebrating with you all! LOVE YOU!!! xoxo
After a perfect party celebration on a perfect day, I look over and see my two guys reading one of Eli's new birthday books. And that is a perfect ending. LOVE XOXO
